This August, Westmeath Sports Partnership is providing three FREE Come & Try Orienteering days throughout the county.
A trained tutor will be on hand to guide you through the steps of orienteering and answer any queries. Once you get an understanding of what to do, you will be free to enjoy the outdoors individually, or within your family or group, and complete as many courses as you wish, at your own pace.
Hard copies of maps will be available to use and participants will also be using the MapRun app.
Don’t forget that you, or your group, must have a phone or mobile device to use MapRun.
Although there is no cost, registration is essential.
If you are attending as a family or group, just one person needs to register, as long as the number of people in the group is listed.
Click the links below to find out more and register for the three events we are hosting this month!

In advance of the come and try days, we encourage everyone to get familiar with the latest updates on orienteering in the county and to download MapRun6, which will be used in the sessions.
