Come & Try Orienteering at Dún na Sí

Join us this Halloween Mid Term as Westmeath Sports Partnership provides a Come and Try Orienteering session at Dún Na Sí Amenity Park in Moate.

- Wednesday 30th October 2024
- 12.30pm – 2.30pm
- Suitable for adults and kids aged 7+
- Suitable to take part individually or as a family/group
- €5 per registration (If you are attending as a family or group of 2 people or more, just one person needs to register. You will be asked at registration how many are in your family/group)
- Free car parking
Orienteering is a very accessible activity for any age or ability that combines physical activity with navigation, challenging both the body and the mind.
A trained tutor will be on hand to guide you through a warm-up orienteering activity (the maze!), and then you will have the opportunity to try out standard orienteering using MapRun6 (with accessible courses available) and also Photo Orienteering (suitable for younger kids or those with additional needs).
- We will have hard copy maps but for your enjoyment, we strongly recommend downloading this app too if attending.
